Robin Green Receives Republican Nomination to Represent 55th District
MARLBOROUGH – State Representative Robin Green (R-55) is pleased to announce that she has been nominated to seek a 3rd term as state representative for the 55th House District. Representative Green was nominated by Hebron resident Kathy Shea during a virtual convention held on May 19.
“I am honored to have received the Republican nomination to represent the 55th District. As the state faces many unprecedented challenges as we continue to respond to the Covid-19 pandemic, we as a legislative body will need to remain unified for the betterment of working families and businesses who are still struggling to get by. While we still have a lot of work to do in order to get back on track, I look forward to working alongside my colleagues to continue these efforts and the efforts to make Connecticut a more affordable place to live, work, and retire for the many individuals, families, and generations to come who will call our state home.
Rep. Green currently serves as Ranking Member of the Children’s Committee and is also a member of the Human Services and Higher Education and Employment Advancement committees.
The 55th District includes the towns of Andover, Bolton, Hebron, and Marlborough.
